Caring for Infants &
Toddlers, 2E is the most comprehensive training program available to help
teachers develop the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain a CDA
credential.
In this first major
upgrade since 1996, the content from all 13 modules is now in the main text,
while all of the self-assessments and learning activity forms are in the
accompanying Skill Building Journal.
Based on the training
program Teaching Strategies developed for the United States military, Caring
for Infants & Toddlers, 2E is organized into modules that can be used for
individualized staff development, a college course, or ongoing workshops.
Caring for Infants
&Toddlers, 2E addresses the professional competency standards that form the
core of accreditation and credentialing programs.
The modules are organized
around the 13 functional areas of the Child Development Associate (CDA)
credential: Safe, Healthy, Learning Environment, Physical, Cognitive,
